Welcome to Jess VanLue Photography! The site is currently in demolition and reconstruction mode. I kindly ask for your patience as the blog and website are updated. The redesign will hopefully bring all branches of Jess VanLue Photography together in a easy-to-navigate site. I invite you to scroll down to view and read about some amazing recent sessions. Thanks for stopping by!

A Little Country.

Why does it seem like yesterday that this beautiful high school senior was just a cute, spunky little 7th grader that I coached in volleyball?  Little Brandy was one of my star players.  I could always count on her overhand serve. (Yes, an awesome overhand in 7th grade, folks.)  Now look at her shining beauty!  Brandy and her mom led me to some gorgeous locations today … all country, and all serene and lovely.  Even Addie, Brandy’s cow with a teenage girl personality (haha!), graced some photos.  Thanks for the fun, ladies.  Enjoy your early look!

Playful Little Ethan.

We jumped on the bed, read some books, played with the choo-choo, picked up the baby, played a little peek-a-boo, raced in the red car, drove the Jeep, jumped off the box, climbed on the chair, pulled the red wagon and ran around at full speed.  Tired, yet?  Amidst all this action was the cutest little lover boy ever.  He melted my heart and kept me racing around like crazy woman all at the same time.  Good fun!

Sophia. Sophia. Sophia.

Such a true pleasure to photograph.  She steps out of her car today and before even seeing me shouts, “Hi Jess!!!”   Sigh, I knew I was in for a treat.  Sophia skipped, hopped and twirled (and maybe tripped) her way through a fabulous photo session.  We literally had to stop shooting because of cute-photo-overload.  It was great to see you girls again!

Halloween Sea Creatures …

… have invaded my house! And I must say they are the cutest darn sea creatures around.

Super Spectacular Sibs.

Today, right in between 2 huge, nasty storms, I had the pleasure of photographing 3 amazing kids ages 7, 9 and 11.  These older ages are sometimes overlooked when it comes to booking custom sessions.  But let me tell you, they truly shine when given the opportunity.  I’m not sure who had more fun … them or me.  I’m so in love with many of their group shots, so that’s what I’m going to share today.  Melissa, you’ll have to be patient for the individuals.  (Haha, easier sad than done, right?) Enjoy your sneak!

And this cutie munchkin is the little cousin of the siblings above.  Couldn’t resist sharing.  If you look closely you may remember him from a few months back.
