Just sending out some birthday love to one of my favorite clients, who’s also a great fan and friend. Happy Birthday, Nicole! Hope it’s a great one. :) Now off to vacation … for real this time.

Rest and Relax.
It’s vacation time around here for my dear hubby and I. Much needed. I’ll be away from the phone and computer until August 1st. Feel free to leave me messages, and I’ll get back with you when I return.
Braggy McBraggerson.
So this past weekend, I received one of the coolest emails ever. This measly blog (which desperately needs a face lift) was featured at a super cool site called Blogs of Photographers. I was literally floored. The talent and inspiration over there is through the roof. I admire so many of the past featured photographers. I’m still giddy, foolish and blushing.
And just for fun … what does YOUR blog say? Well, here’s a taste of mine (created at wordle.net):
Jacob.
I love shooting high school seniors. The reasons why are far too long to list, but I will tell you one of my most favorite reasons. Each of these kids (pretty much adults) is so incredibly unique, interesting and inspiring. Not only is Jacob here so cute and confident, he excels in water polo. Water polo has always been such a fascinating sport to me. Just seeing him mess with the ball was pretty cool. Had a great afternoon with you guys … even through the humidity and mosquitos.

The photographer in front of the camera. *gasp*
This is a rare occasion, folks. I ventured around to the other side of the camera … the dark side. It was all for a good reason, though, I assure you. My dearest friend, Christy (the amazing seamstress and artist behind Sew Fussy… check it out!), sent this fabulous dress to me. I’m so in love with everything she creates. I promised her some pics (as cheesy as they are) of the dress in action. Christy provided my youngest child with some of the most amazing clothing and cloth diapers ever. It’s so great to now get some Fussy love all for me.
Can’t wait for more!

Now off I go to the back side of the camera where I belong …
