It’s coming.
Reesie-Peesie Buttercup …
… well, that’s what we used to call her … 5 years ago. My baby is turning into a big girl. She totally knocked my socks off with these images today. My daughter is a tough one to get in front of the camera. So when it happens, the world stops turning and we play photo shoot. Isn’t she beautiful?

Shadow.
Today was way fun! I was lucky enough to play teacher for a day while Ashley, a sophmore, came over to play and learn … errr … I mean work. Ashley’s English class is required to job shadow the profession of their choice. She’s an aspiring photographer (yay!) and asked to spend a day with me. Since I had a week free of sessions, we had a mock session with Ashley as the subject. We spent some time learning the ins and outs of the camera and a few photography secrets … shhhhh, then we hit the road and had a fun little shoot. I think Ashley’s favorite part was the editing half. She’s quite the knock-out subject, so editing was minimal on her images. Or maybe her favorite part was our lunch break when she knocked me out in Wii Boxing.
Here are a few from the session.

In snow and heels.
Kayla is one of those senior girls that I could play photographer with all day long. She managed to rock the camera in 15 degree weather in stilettos! We trudged through many a snow drift, but it was incredibly worth it in the end.

The cutest.
I’m pretty sure that Asher Zeke could quite possibly win every cute baby contest around. He is a doll! Bleach blonde hair, deep blue eyes, sweet little dimples and even a happy disposition. I’m not sure I can wait another whole year before the next session. (hint hint)
