Yah, Mon.

Just a couple quickies from Jamaica.  It’s so lovely here.  The sun is hot, the water is cool, and the food is delish.  Can’t wait to share more. :)

It’s too cold here, so …

… I’m heading south.  Way south.  My next blog post will hopefully contain warm, lovely images from Jamaica.  Yah, Mon!  Everyting be irie!  My awesome friend, Theresa, and her adorable fiance, Jonathan, are saying “I do” on the shores of Jamaica.  My other most awesome friend, Aly Darin, is the photographer, and I’m hanging around as the 2nd shooter.  Yay!  This is an amazing opportunity, and I’m so excited!  (Don’t screw it up … don’t screw it up … don’t screw it up …)This will be my first time photographing a wedding.  I can’t wait.  If all goes well, I may be adding a few open spots for weddings next year.  :)

Painting.

Reese had a wonderful 8th birthday, and one of her most favorite gifts was the face painting set. She’s quite talented and would be happy to decorate anyone willing. Her brothers have been excellent canvases the past few days … (and mom, too.) With a bit more practice, she may have herself a little booth at the festival next summer.

Cold, dark, rainy … but fun!

Hats off to the this family. They smiled and laughed their way through 45 minutes of wind and rain. For the love of the photo! :) I’m so glad that we went ahead and pushed on. Lots of fun memories were made.

Who needs turkey …

… for Thanksgiving when you could just gobble this cutie up?  Charlie was putting on all the moves for the camera.   Leftover birthday cake is a fine bribe, I say. ;)   Going to be a total blog hog right now and show off my baby.
