Baby Heartthrob.
A Quickie.
Small share from a small, but lovely session. Mom called and booked wanting “just one quick shot with our son while he’s in town.” No problem, I can squeeze in a quickie. I head to the session prepared for short, casual, nothing fancy session. Well, this family is far from nothing fancy. On a whim, they looked incredible. In only 10 short minutes, we created lifelong treasures with ease. It’s always an awesome time with the E family. Can you tell the siblings get along great?

Music and Moments.
A family that plays together, stays together. This certainly holds true for the M family. Not only do have have a great time just hanging out or going for walks, they are all extremely musically inclined and enjoy playing together. I met this family about 10 years ago. They are old friends of my husband’s and we all immediately clicked back then. Well, let me tell you, I hope that 10 years let alone 10 months don’t pass before we hang out again. I love each of them. Their music blows my mind. All of them are going great places. Thanks, M family, for a wonderful evening. Can’t wait till we get our families together.

Prom Dress Revival 2010
One of my most favorite days of summer is the day that I have the privilege of photographing beautiful teens in their prom gowns. Sometimes we head to the beach or tall grass or even a backyard. This year we shot on a wonderful piece of property that had a little bit of everything … greenery, old buildings, and grassy paths. The girls all showed up looking beyond fantastic. The shoot was a blast, and like every other year, it flew by too fast.
I often get asked, “Why do you do a prom shoot in the summer?” For me it’s a win-win photo shoot. Win for the girls because they get to wear their $200+ prom dress that was only worn for 6 hours and probably wouldn’t see daylight ever again, plus get photographed in a way that truly portrays their style and beauty. Win for me because I get the chance to play fashion photographer for a day and fill my gallery with images I normally wouldn’t have the opportunity to create. It really is a fun day for all involved.
Here are just a few of my favorite images that were created last week. It was so hard to choose a small sampling. Didn’t the girls do amazing?

Below are a few other favorites. Enjoy!
Jackson & Nolan.
So cute! These faces are completely lovable. I had such a hard time narrowing down these photos, because each shot had yet another adorable smile or smirk. I don’t envy the job of those who are choosing photos from this gallery. I could barely do it myself! Thanks, Cyn, John, Elise and Matt. Had a great time with you all.
