Meet Jennifer.  She’s the latest 2011 Senior Rep for Jess VanLue.  Her session was incredibly refreshing.  Her presence in front of the camera was so pure and happy.  You can imagine that there were many, many giggles and laughs.  I loved our time together.  Her full session this summer is going to be a total blast.

Meet Hayley.  One word: Wow.  She’s lovely, friendly, talented, humble and so sweet.  Total fun was had during this shoot.  One thing I love about the girls that come to me for senior photos is their willingness to play along with me.  I love my job, and each session is truly as exciting and new for me as it is for my clients.  Hayley was no exception.  She was game for anything and totally pulled it off.  Fun!

Meet Carissa.  Another fabulous 2011 Senior Rep for Jess VanLue, and another subject to brave frigid temps for the love of the photo.  Carissa is a doll and so friendly.  After our first meeting, I felt like we’d known each other forever.    Can’t wait to work with her again.

Ok, time for a little break from the soon-to-be high school seniors, and on to subjects with a bit carefree and silly.  Meet Carter, a very goofy and very sweet 2-year old.  This little fella was all about a photo session.  Talk about easy!  He sat still, he posed, he gave kisses and even let his little smiley brother a turn in front of the camera.  Good times.

One of my favorite parts of my job (there are many) is that every once and awhile, I’m reunited with a friend from long ago.   In another situation I may not have had the opportunity to get together.  Carter’s mama and I went to high school together about 150 years ago.  It was so great to catch up and chat.     All in all, it was a fantastic day.

Meet Jillian.  Not only amazingly lovely, but tough as nails.  I’m pretty sure that Michigan had it’s first hurricane during this session.  Ok, maybe not a hurricane, but the 40 MPH winds and sideways rain were awful.  We pushed through, found nooks and crannies to hide in and toughed it out for as long as possible.  Finally, we had to call it quits and hope that we created something fantastic.  Jillian is awesome.  I love her photos, and if we can do this good together during a spring storm, then our summer session should be incredible.  Can’t wait!
