My sweet baby is just a couple weeks away from being 4 yrs old. (sob sob) He is just the coolest little cat that I know. Wish I could transform him back to about age 6 months just to cuddle for a day. Thankfully, he’s still a little cuddle monkey. There’s nothing better than tucking him in and laying next to him while he doses off (often playing with my hair or face) … sigh.

Let me just tell you a little about my mom:

- She makes THE BEST german chocolate cake.
- Her gardens (all 10+) are extremely lush and gorgeous.
- I think my children would rather live with her most days.  She’s an amazing Grandma.
- She’s a child of God, and shows this daily.
- At age 50(something) she decided to go to college.  She gets all A’s.
- She’s the hardest worker that I know.
- She daily gives hope and inspiration to troubled teenage boys.  She changes lives.
- She knows that when I call her and start with “I’ve got a dilemma” that she needs to sit down.
- She has fantastic style.
- She hates sushi.  Yeah, I know … crazy, right?
- She always puts others first and rarely gives herself enough time or attention.
- She loves unconditionally.
- She’s the best mom I could ever imagine,  <3

Her name is not Ruby, but this is the sweet nickname her parents call her.  She’s just one year old and already has an opinion on style and color.  She loves red!  She lights up at the color red.  It’s incredibly adorable.
