Contest time!
It’s that time again when I get a bit wild and crazy and give away FREE things! I know, I know … somebody hold me down. So, what’s on the freebie docket for today?
Pretty exciting, right? The winner of this contest will receive 1 FREE Session ($100 Value) to be used in April of 2009. PLUS, the winner will give the friend of their choice a $25 JVP Gift Certificate. The gift that keeps on giving!
It’s contest time … OFFICE STYLE! Here’s how to play and win:
RULES:
- Only ONE comment per person.
- Your office object must be UNIQUE. Make sure it hasn’t been said already (read the comments). If you list an office object that has already been guessed, your comment will not be counted.
- All entries with correct office objects will be entered into a drawing for the prize.
- Contest ends at midnight on Wednesday, March 11.
- Jess (or one of her trusty children) will draw a winner on THURSDAY, MARCH 12.
Good luck! Here are a handful of office objects in case you need a hint, but trust me, there are many many more.

Just two.
These cold, rainy, dreary days are dragging by very slowly. Grasping for creativity.

Yes, I’m bragging.
I’m going to take one whole selfish blog post to brag about my daughter for a minute. Bear with me.
I’m just so proud of her that I can’t keep quiet any longer. I’ve never in my life met anyone so determined, committed, and talented as this little firecracker. She never ceases to amaze me. She’s a straight “A” student who truly LOVES school. She fills our home with beautiful piano music every day. She loves to meet new people and dearly treasures those in her life (especially the animal kind.) She’s the best big sissy ever, and has already taught her 3-year old brother to clearly write his name and color “in the lines.” And among a million other things, she loves sports. You name the sport … she loves it.
This year she decided to try gymnastics. Over the past 4 months it has quickly become her favorite sport. Trust me, making the “favorite” for her is no easy task (soccer and basketball are fighting for the top spot.) My husband and I agreed to give gymnastics a try thinking that it would be fun for awhile, but probably not something she’d really enjoy. She’s always been a bit more “rumble, tumble” and less graceful. Never in a million years did I think she’d fall in love with the sport, and be competing against (and placing higher than) girls on other teams who have been practicing for years. She’s amazing out there. Mom and dad are so proud.
Here are a few shots from her floor routine this past weekend. She brought home two 3rd place ribbons, a 5th place and a 7th place ribbon.
Brag over. Thanks for bearing with me.
