A cool mom and her awesome daughter.
I had such an amazing time meeting, photographing and sharing with these two. I know that I’ve made friends for life. Not only are they stunningly gorgeous, their hearts are filled to the max with love and kindness. Kind of gushy, I know. Can’t help it.
Thank you both so much for inviting me into your world.

More Vegas.
A few quickies from Vegas.
Not much time to stop and chat. Today is another day full of classes and networking. Just wanted to share a handful from an amazing photo shoot yesterday. These were shot at the totally cool Neon Boneyard just outside the strip in Vegas. It was super tough shooting around 30 other photographers, but fun none the less.
(P.S. I’m working on my tiny, barebones laptop in the hotel, so I’m really not sure what these photos look like in the real world. Please forgive all wonky color.
)

The good. The bad. The ugly.
The Good: I’m headed to Vegas. Yeah, baby, yeah! The biggest, best photography conference (WPPI) ever is held this coming week at the MGM in Las Vegas. I’m so extremely ready to be inspired! I’ll be out of the office until next Friday (2/20), but while away I’ll still be periodically checking email. So, if it’s urgent, don’t hesitate to shoot me a message. I’ll also be updating Facebook with my latest where-abouts.
The Bad: My poor little hometown is currently is chaos mode. As a result of quick snow melt and a dumping of rain, the downtown is slowly flooding.
There are some wonderful, well-loved businesses that are hanging on by a thread. The river is suppose to crest later today. Crossing all crossables.
The Ugly: Here are a few shots taken this morning of little, ‘ol Vassar, Michigan. There’s always the scare of floods here, but we’ve managed to hold off for a long time.

Baby E.
Some newborn shoots are just easier than others. I’m not going to lie. Today was one of those sessions that just flowed so smoothly. Both babe and big sissy were so incredibly sweet. It was extremely hard to finally end the session and put the camera away. This little man is heartbreaker material already. Watch out world!
