I’m a little on the fence on holding the Prom Shoot.  Last year’s Prom Shoot was AMAZING and had a great turnout.  Just not sure about the vibe this year.

No, I’m not going to the high school prom this year … sadly, I’m about ohhhh 100 years too late.  Doesn’t mean that I don’t love a good time in a funky, shiny, sparkly dress.  Prom dress style changes rapidly.  So what’s hot for 2009?  That’s pretty much all in the eye of the beholder, right?  Well, here is what my eye sees ….

- poofy is out, curves are in.
- short is sassy.
- bright is fun, and metallic is the new black.
- hair is down, and makeup is pure.

I had the hugest pleasure of meeting Lily and her sweet mom, Wendy, today.  Both were tremendously adorable.  Lily, almost 1 year old, was quite the smartie.  She was pleasant, calm and very determined to go on about her day as if there wasn’t a goofy photographer following her around.  She knew exactly what was taking place in her house, and she knew exactly how to handle it … “look away, and the photographer lady will go away.”  Haha.  She was very fun.
