Soccer has begun. Yeah! I love soccer games! Actually, I love watching my daughter play any sport. Her passion for sports is sky high. This girl gives it her all every time. Today she played especially well because her Grandpa came to watch. Grandpa is a huge fan, and she loves to give him a good show.

Had a quick, impromptu mini session this afternoon with the sweetest little girl. Her lips were entirely too kissable.

She really is so amazing. She’s always making me so proud. She’s a brain, a joker, an athlete, a princess (though don’t tell her I said this …), a tomboy, a beauty, a writer, a softy, an animal lover, a free spirit … my daughter. Watch out world!  Oh and her super cool duds?  Those are from one of my most favorite places for clothing, you must check out Matilda Jane.

Yeah, that’s right.  My haircut is way better than yours.  Kelly Moss is a rock star stylist, and Kelly O’Brian’s Saloncafe is seriously the hottest salon.  I’m going to sidetrack from photography for minute, because I must rave about my most favorite place in town.  I’ve been meaning to brag about my sweet escape forever, but well … I’m a slacker.  Kelly always keeps it real.   My (um, I mean “This”) salon is such a breath of fresh air in our small little town … trendy, sleek, and funky.  If you live in, near or around Vassar, and you aren’t getting your hair done, nails done or sipping a yummy coffee or smoothie from Kelly’s, then you are missing out, my friend.  Those girls rock! (Now someone go in there and convince Kelly that she needs new pics of her and her hubby … because it’s looooooooooooong over due! )
